What the chamber runs
Their own year, from the events they organise to the magazine and the job board.
Events across the year
Lectures, meetings, seminars and conferences, plus evenings co-hosted with the other chambers in Hong Kong.
Events at fellow chambers
A memorandum of understanding with fourteen BeLux and EuroCham chambers in Asia lets members attend those chambers’ events, in person and online, on the same conditions as the organising chamber’s members.
Mentoring Program
Launched in May 2023 for the chamber’s Young Professional members. It matches ambitious young executives and entrepreneurs with senior leaders in Hong Kong, runs for six months, and combines regular one to one meetings with four group sessions, two of them led by expert speakers.
Committees
Two are published: China, and Finance and Tax, the second run with the Dutch Chamber.
Digital magazine
Now at edition twenty. It carries introductions to new and long-standing members, economic updates, and messages from the chamber’s governmental partners.
Job board
Vacancies from the community, and a route for applicants. The chamber also takes several trainees onto its own staff each year.
The memorandum
The chamber describes this memorandum as the next step in an ever-increasing pan-Asian collaboration, meant to widen the services offered to members of every participating chamber. The fourteen member chambers are shown as a logo wall.
Chamber members can participate on the same conditions as members from the organising chamber when travelling to the other country.
The Asian memorandumFour things worth their attention
The chamber writes up what matters to its members: a member company’s expansion into Europe, the Hong Kong Budget, InvestHK’s annual results, government policy, and the obligations that follow from Belgium being a party to the OECD anti-bribery convention since 1999.
